Montana’s News Station, Fair. Accurate. To the Point.

Authorities say the man who was killed in an ATV rollover accident that happened over the weekend was a 67-year-old man from Lockwood although Yellowstone County still are not releasing his name.

Officials were notified at around 8:15 p.m. Sunday that a dead body was found in an irrigation ditch near Lockwood School and the Hillside Village Trailer Court and officers on the scene have told us that the ATV the man was driving rolled over him.

A nearby family first discovered the body when a dog that appeared to be owned by the man attracted their attention. Officials say that at the time of the accident the man was wearing not helmet or any other protective gear.
