Pike County ATV driver, 37, crashes and dies

A Pike County man died Monday after he crashed his ATV on Route 590 in Lackawaxen Township around 7:15 p.m., according to state police.

Frank Jennings was speeding, police said, while driving westbound. He tried to negotiate a curve, the ATV overturned and Jennings was thrown from the vehicle. Police said he sustained severe injuries and was life flighted to Community Medical Center in Scranton, where he died. He was not wearing a helmet.
