A 17-year-old girl died from injuries received in a weekend all-terrain-vehicle accident in Ritchie County.The West Virginia State Police was continuing to investigate Monday, but had not released the girl’s name.
The accident occurred Sunday afternoon just off W.Va. 7 near Pullman, said a State Police clerk. The ATV apparently overturned, pinning the victim underneath. She was not wearing a helmet, State Police said.
