Staff Report

A 7-year-old boy was killed Saturday when he was thrown from the all-terrain vehicle his father was driving on a rural road in Choctaw County, according to the county coroner.

Gregory Paul Threadgill of Pensacola died instantly from head injuries at a hunting camp near Toxey, said Coroner Rocky Bumpers. The boy was not wearing a helmet, Bumpers said.

The boy’s father, Edwin Threadgill, was driving the ATV on a dirt road when it flipped over, Bumpers said.
