Two Teenagers Hurt In ATV Accident

MIDDLETOWN – Two teenage boys were injured in an ATV accident Sunday afternoon on Brooks Road, police said.

Driver David Larson, 16, of East Hampton, was taken by Life Star helicopter to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries. Ryan Bousquet, 17, of East Hampton, was taken by ambulance to Middlesex Hospital with minor injuries, police said.

At 2:52 p.m., the ATV was traveling west on Brooks Road about a tenth of a mile west of Bear Hill Road when it veered to the right, went off the roadway and struck a tree, police said.
