Update: Sherwood man dies in ATV accident in Clackamas County

Justin Sheehy, 20, of Sherwood died Sunday when he crashed his ATV along Pine Creek Road, near the Pine Creek Bridge, about 15 miles south of Molalla.

Clackamas County sheriff’s office spokesman said Sheehy and a friend were riding the ATV and a motorcycle Sunday afternoon.

Sheehy was on the ATV headed down “a moderately steep portion” of the gravel road when he went into a fast skid of about 30 feet, then dropped into a 10-foot deep ravine with large rocks. He was wearing a helmet. Deputies reported that alcohol is a factor in the accident.
