An Anderson man was killed in an all terrain vehicle accident late Wednesday night, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.Deputies said he was driving the ATV with a woman on the back, when he hit a chain blocking their path outside of Lakeside Middle School on Pearman Dairy Road.
Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore identifies the victim as 36-year-old Arthur Lee Swilling II of Anderson. Investigators said the woman was taken to the hospital with pelvic injuries. Shore said an autopsy is planned on Swilling Thursday.
