Man riding ATV dies after losing control, rolling over

A Wasilla man riding an ATV without a helmet died in a crash after the vehicle rolled, Alaska State Troopers said Thursday.

Richard Minars, 46, was killed in the wreck that happened about 10:10 p.m. Wednesday on Swan Drive, troopers said.

Investigators said Minars was riding the ATV on the road when he lost control and rolled. He died at the scene.
