Shooting a rocket at a birthday party. 8 frames a second is great for capturing the moment, but trying to sync up with a 9 year old pushing the launch button fills up the buffer quickly!

So I got bored with that last moon shot and decided to overlay a bike on it. This is Takayuki Higashino, from Japan, at the 2009 ASA World Championship of Freestyle Motocross in Pomona, Ca.

The spokes really kicked my ass. Thanks to Derrel at The Photo Forum for the suggestion to simply motion blur them!
